My ORA Dental experience

One of my front tooth broke a while ago and I was considering solutions when I remembered ORA Dental sign on Calthorpe Rd. in Edgbaston. I decided to go in cold and it paid up. I met first with Danii, the patient co-ordinator who took all the time to walk me through the process as well as providing me with the best and most competitive payment solutions for what it proved to be a very complex surgical procedure. So I met Dr. Daniel who performed competently all the necessary tasks in order to provide me with the implant I required. At each visit Dr. Daniel delivered the highest medical care services helped by state of the art technology and most of all knew how to inspire me with the confidence I so much needed. All the personnel impressed me each time I visited with sheer competence, consideration and friendlines and I cannot recommend enough ORA Dental response for complex patient needs.

Today I completed my individual dental…

Today, I (Jodie) completed my individual dental implant with Dan and the team at Ora Dental, Edgebaston. The entire process from consultation to today’s final fitting has been flawless. I have been provided a wealth of education and advice, without pressure to add services that were not essential for my dental journey. Each appointment has left me feeling happy and confident that I was being treated by friendly professionals who consider their patients in all aspects of their treatment planning. I would highly recommend Ora Dental if you are interested in dental implants from my experience, which was nothing short of stellar! Thank you all again, you have reinstated my confidence and self-esteem today!

Impressed

So, I have just come to the end of a far amount of treatment and I have to say, I’m delighted. As most people in their 60’s I have been going to the dentist for half a century and I have to say, finding Ora Dental was one of the best Google search results I’ve ever had. Previous dentists were ok, but they all felt like they were just doing a job. The staff at Ora Dental actually care for my teeth more than I do 😁 It’s a fairly big team and my care plan was managed perfectly by Dani and her colleagues. The implant installed by Dr. Daniel required a bone graft. Dr. Zoya swapped out an aging discoloured crown along with numerous filling replacements Honestly, I’m not sure which ones are which they match so well. My kids certainly cannot tell. After forty years working as an engineer I don’t impress easily but I have say I’d give them my thumbs up. Thank you everyone

Thank you very much for bringing my…

Thank you very much for bringing my confidence back when I smile. The staff and Dr Sara are truly amazing. I was a bit anxious at first but they made me felt so relaxed that it took away my fear. I had considered doing this for a long time but never had the courage to until I came across ORA Dental Surgery on Facebook. I rang up the surgery and was invited in for an assessment. My overall experience was nothing but truly amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Extensive oral surgery experience. Individualised patient care.

Dr Daniel Saund is an experienced Consultant Oral Surgeon with a clinical interest in dental implants and complex oral surgery.

He qualified from the University of Bristol in 2002 and developed his experience through postgraduate surgical training and hospital practice.

Alongside his work with ORA Dental, he serves as a Consultant in Oral Surgery at Birmingham Dental Hospital and Clinical Lead for Oral Surgery at Sandwell General Hospital.

His clinical interests and experience include dental implant placement, complex tooth extractions, bone grafting and sinus lift procedures.

Dr Daniel also teaches oral surgery to dentists and dental students and has presented and published work nationally and internationally.

Helping patients feel informed and reassured

Dr Daniel understands that extensive dental treatment can feel daunting.

With training in dental sedation and experience treating nervous patients, he values careful explanations, patient comfort and individual treatment planning.

At ORA Dental, the clinical team assesses your circumstances before recommending any implant treatment.

Understanding the treatment

A full arch of replacement teeth, supported by dental implants.

Full-arch dental implants are designed to support a complete replacement arch in the upper jaw, lower jaw or both.

Rather than placing an implant for every missing tooth, a clinically selected number of implants support an implant-retained fixed bridge.

The implants are positioned within the jawbone to provide foundations for the planned restoration.

Illustration of a fixed full-arch bridge supported by six dental implants, with the gum tissue, abutment connectors and jawbone labelled.

Implant configurations

Four or six implants. Your clinical needs come first.

Both configurations support a complete replacement arch. The number of implants depends on your anatomy, available bone, restorative design and other clinical considerations.

Illustration of an All-on-4 lower jaw: four dental implants placed in the jawbone, two angled at the back, supporting a full-arch bridge of replacement teeth above.

All-on-4

Typically four supporting implants

Four implants are carefully positioned to support one planned full-arch restoration.

ORA standard price £9,950 per arch

Illustration of an All-on-6 lower jaw: six dental implants placed in the jawbone supporting a full-arch bridge of replacement teeth above.

All-on-6

Typically six supporting implants

Six implants are used when the surgeon determines that configuration is appropriate.

ORA standard price £9,950 per arch

The same standard price for both configurations

At ORA Dental, the choice between All-on-4 and All-on-6 is not a paid upgrade. Your surgeon recommends the configuration that is clinically appropriate for you.

How it works

From your first consultation to your final restoration.

ORA Complete Arch Restoration brings assessment, digital planning, surgery, restorative design and continuing care together within a coordinated programme.

  1. Step 1: Free Consultation

    Start with a conversation.

    Cost: Free

Speak to our treatment coordinator about your goals, full-arch treatment, standard prices and the next steps.

This is a non-clinical information conversation, not a diagnosis or examination.

  2. Step 2: Clinical Assessment

Explore your options with a dentist.

    Cost: £50

Your dentist examines your dental health, discusses your concerns and considers appropriate treatment options.

  3. Step 3: Digital planning & written treatment plan

    Understand your recommended approach.

CBCT/planning: £250 where required. A treatment credit may apply as specified in writing.

Where required, additional imaging and diagnostic records help the team plan your surgery and restoration.

Your clinician explains the proposed treatment, possible alternatives, risks, timescales and individual costs.

Appropriate CBCT imaging, dental scans and records support treatment planning when required.

  4. Step 4: Implant surgery

    Clinically planned implant placement.

Your surgeon places the agreed implants and carries out any planned associated procedures.

Temporary fixed teeth may be possible on surgery day when clinically safe and appropriate.

Otherwise, an alternative temporary approach may be needed.

  5. Step 5: Healing & reviews

    Allow time for healing.

Your implants and surrounding tissues need time to heal.

Your team provides guidance about diet, hygiene, activity and follow-up care during this stage.

  6. Step 6: Your final restoration

A bespoke bridge designed around you.

When healing is sufficient, your final zirconia-based restoration with titanium support is designed, checked and fitted.

A period of approximately three months between surgery and final restoration may be typical, but individual treatment times vary.

Your team will explain the maintenance and care required afterwards.

Ready to take the first step?

An important distinction

Temporary teeth first. Your bespoke final bridge after healing.

Temporary PMMA-type implant-supported bridge: a full arch of ivory replacement teeth set in gum-coloured acrylic, with metal implant connection cylinders along the top.

On surgery day

Temporary fixed bridge

Some clinically suitable patients can receive a temporary PMMA-type fixed bridge on the day of implant placement.

This depends on implant stability and the surgeon's assessment. An alternative temporary arrangement may be required.

Final zirconia-based implant-supported bridge with titanium support: a full arch of ivory replacement teeth set in custom gum-coloured acrylic, with metal titanium connection channels along the top.

After healing

Your definitive zirconia-based bridge

Once the implants and tissues have healed adequately, your bespoke final restoration is planned and fitted.

ORA's described programme uses a zirconia-based visible restoration with a titanium support structure.

The ORA approach

Thoughtful planning. Personalised restorations. Clear communication.

Treatment choices based on clinical suitability

The choice between All-on-4 and All-on-6 is guided by clinical assessment rather than being sold as a higher-priced upgrade.

Our goal is to help you understand a treatment recommendation appropriate to your circumstances.

Ongoing care

Support and guidance beyond your final fitting.

Full-arch implant restorations need appropriate home care and professional monitoring. Your team will explain how to look after your restoration and when reviews may be recommended.

Personalised cleaning & maintenance
Good home hygiene and regular professional reviews help support the health of the tissues around implants.
Long-term monitoring
Your clinician may recommend periodic checks of your gums, implant components and restoration.
Repairs & restorative maintenance
Implant-supported bridges and mechanical components can loosen, wear, chip or require repairs over time. The team will explain applicable treatment, repair and maintenance arrangements.
